Dancenorth create some of the most adventurous, thoughtfully conceived, and highly acclaimed contemporary dance works in Australia. We developed a new brand and website that strongly focused on celebrating Dancenorth's unique regional location.

Dancenorth is one of Australia’s leading performing arts companies and a champion of the arts in North Queensland. Our aim through this project was always to celebrate both artistry and place. We focused the brand around the captivating photography of Associate Artist Director Amber Haines and combined that with a warm colour palette that spoke directly to the land and sea. These soft and tonal elements were then offset by bold contemporary typography to create a Dancenorth brand that evokes a sense of modern dance rooted in regional eccentricities.
